1. Getting started
What is BeOpen?
BeOpen is a simple, friendly voice app to meet people near you.
Minimum age
The minimum age to use BeOpen is 18.
2. Account & access
I lost access to my account
Try signing in with the same provider you used originally (for example, Google or Facebook). If the issue continues, use the Contact page (or email support@beopen.app).
How do I delete my account?
Submit your request via the Contact page (or email us from the address linked to your account). Deletion is completed within 30 days. See the Privacy Policy for details.
3. Using BeOpen
Can I just listen?
You can join a room, listen to the conversation, and speak when you feel ready.
How do voice rooms work?
Pick a room by region and age range, then join in one tap. Ice-breaker topics help start and guide the conversation.
4. Privacy & data
What information is required to sign in?
Sign-in uses standard providers (for example, Google or Facebook) that may share your name and email with us. At BeOpen, we only store your email address. We do not store your name or profile photo.
Do you sell or rent data?
We don’t sell or rent personal data and we don’t share it for advertising purposes.
Where is my data hosted?
In the European Union. No transfers outside the EU are made without appropriate safeguards.
Do you listen to conversations or use them for targeting?
Conversations are not listened to for targeting and are not used to deliver targeted advertising. No ads are based on the content of voice exchanges.
5. Subscriptions & billing
Is the app free?
BeOpen is free to use, and an optional Premium subscription may be offered to provide additional benefits.
What does the Premium subscription offer?
Premium gives access to extra benefits such as additional rewards for challenges and the ability to propose your own conversation topics, among others. For the full offer, please refer to the subscription description in the app.
Do you offer a free trial?
A three-day free trial is available when a user chooses to subscribe.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Manage it directly through your app store (Apple App Store / Google Play). Store billing and refund policies apply. See the Terms of Use for more information.
6. Safety & moderation
How do I report a problem or abuse?
Use the in-app report button or the Contact page (you can also email support@beopen.app). Please include the date, the room, a brief description, and, if needed, the user involved.
What actions can you take?
Depending on severity and repetition: warning, temporary restriction, suspension, or ban. See our Community Guidelines.
I don’t feel comfortable in a room
You can leave the room, mute your microphone, or submit a report. If you need assistance, you can contact a moderator via the profile page.
7. Technical help
No sound or microphone not detected
Check mic permission, headset/volume, and connection quality. Close other audio apps and relaunch BeOpen. If needed, restart your device.
8. Partnerships, ideas & advertising
Is there advertising in BeOpen?
Advertising may appear discreetly and in a clearly identifiable way within the interface.
